Your back..My old mate the Ham sandwich snatcher spots me amongst the crowd.. Eagle Owls are the largest of the owls and their sheer size and aggressive nature makes them the most dominant bird of prey (both nocturnal and diurnal) wherever they are found. Very occasionally they are killed by large Eagles, but more often it is they who prey on other Raptors.. These are one serious bird..R.

That is a great shot Richie. The focus is superb and those eyes! Enough to scare anything its own size or slightly bigger. I think out of sheer habit it is trying that look on you and thinks the camera is a small cat :)

Love the colors, subject and especially the eyes. Most photo editing programs have a feature to remove red eye. Don't use it here!
