This is part of the view from my kitchen window..It's an area of the west end of Newcastle known as Scotwood..I thought to try out the Tokina 100mm macro on a normal everyday shot. The church in the centre is St James's,,My sister was married there 56 years ago and she and her hubby are still going strong..I was an usher at the tender age of 10 years old..R.

Great view with the churches and towerblock rising above the sea of back-to-backs.

Richie, What I like the most about this one, is the wondeful clouds, really enhances the iamge. Good color and comp. I like the story, as well. The trees in the foreground look soft, but overall a very good image, and a good idea to try something different with the macro lens. Tigs♥ =^..^=

That church really draws the eyes in, Biff... even more than the high rise. I love that fantastic sky. Very nice job.

How many times do the drinking blokes stumble into the wrong residence Count B? I know you wouldn't be one of them.
The lens seems to know its way around a community.

Don't believe that Bob had bad figures for mathematics, so think he's teasing you Richie, lol.

Viewing your image, supposse that the try out of your Tokina 100mm macro turned out very positive.

Looks like a very versatile lens, Richie. Superb sharpness throughout. The image is a fascinating bit of cityscape, and your sky is awesome.

Through your lens this looks like a well made miniature model city. Very clear and sharp throughout. With this view from the kitchen window there is a chance of setting the frying pan on fire :)
