A birding lens is one that is equipped with seeds, and shoots them out into the air when you take a picture....right? LOL. Nice soft looking foofy shot, Biff. Really good color.

You blurred the background around this bloom and that is good except there shouldn't a haze surrounding it. Did you use box blur?
