the change in water between the ominous cloud (brownish grey hue) and the clear blue sky (with the clouds reflecting on the water) is cool. i feel like he is going to catch something for some reason

He is probably going to catch a cold among other things Count B. New lens did the trick. Nicely composed.

Caught my eye with this one, Richie.

Some very nice photography.

Caveats?

Going to try and keep my commenting roar to a minimum here. And let a picture speak the next thousand words of my usual drivel.

Have a look see ... here.

Could add a lot of artsy fartsy words to explain the crop ... kind of curious as to whether or not it is more of an impactful image to your eyes as presented now.

That said..

Bit of noise has crept into the sky. More noticeable in that element, than that of the water and land. Suspect you might have pushed the colour some and somewhere's else in your post processing.

Desktop resolution size ... no biggie. I simply took a look around at the largest.

That said..

And reiterating, nice one. :o)

You outdid yourself on this one. Simply gorgeous! Les is right about the crop. It's a matter of "less is more" type thing. KEEP-PAH!

A great shot, Richie! The light and colors in this image are outstanding, and I love the lone crabber heading home in this scene. The combination of dark clouds and bright blue sky is very appealing, as is the blue reflected on the water. Well done!
