I come from haunts of coot and hern, I make a sudden sally, And sparkle out among the fern, To bicker down a valley. By thirty hills I hurry down, Or slip between the ridges, By twenty thorps, a little town, And half a hundred bridges. Till last by Philip's farm I flow To join the brimming river, For men may come and men may go, But I go on for ever. ALT...

Very cool, Biff. I like the flow of the water, and the clarity of the shot.

I just came from Raj's Staring Blonde to this babbler and feel they have a lot in common on a certain scale.
Great shot of the water Count B. It works well with the total shot. How about some settings?

A great shot, Richie. The angle, composition, and light in this shot are terrific. Very nice colors and depth of field, as well. Looks like a wonderful place to visit.

Nice capture of the water flowing between the rocks and falling on onto the next step - but with all the global warming the brook shouldn't take things for granted.

On the other hand, agent SOB [Soddy Owd Bowb], behaved very nicely I think. At the same time time he apparently defended the Americans and us [non-native speakers]. I cannot help but avoid poetry in every possible way. I wrote my MA thesis on Shakespeare, without reading anything of the stuff which was and still is some rigmarole [although I love to watch [and listen to] Macbeth and Hamlet on stage - in English.

Few things sound finer then a small brook, pretty green mossy rocks that the water has to travel around and I like the bowing tree on the left Peaceful place Richie!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
