Capt Cornelius,Sailed many an ocean in his trusty ship..I think it was named the old boiler but don't quote me..Here he has it berthed on the Ouseburn a tributary of the River Tyne..They lower his drinks from the windows every time he sounds his hooter...R.

Boy, if I had heard of this place earlier in my sailing days I would have tied up there too. Two blasts on the whistle - one for me and one for my Mate! Nice image and great imagination Richie.

This is just such an unusual image, it keeps me guessing at every turn. The very strange craft (obviously) moored under the windows, the white objects in the windows, the access ladders and rings in the wall to the left, the tiny viewing area (complete with a table and chairs) above the wall on the right, and the opening below, are all quite mysterious. I'll have to drop it into my favorites file so I can study it later at my leisure.
