I have checked-out your links, Richie, and have read that the column is so tall that it might well stand in the most ambitious of London squares. See that, in spite of the tall surrounding trees, its 140ft makes it tall enough to be seen all over the area.
Wonderful image. The flowers are a good bonus to it.
It looks like a beacon of hope for all to see Count B. I find the story about Lang Jack quite interesting. Funny your flag is called the Union Jack. The photo is really good with the wonderful sky and the pink flowers shining in the grasses.
Well, I sure wouldn't wanted to meet this Lang Jack, but he sure was Land. Not surprised he could climb the monument. Lovely summer day across the meadow with such prettily colored blooms all about.
This is a b e a u t i f u l! image R. love those colors, and the highlighted areas, and then there is that wow of a sky, really is a beautiful image. Tigs♥ =^..^=
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
