I used to have lots of them, when I was a child. Not lots at once, but they escaped one after the other so I had to keep the stock more or less at the same level LOL It is said about them that they can talk, but only when kept alone, but I always kept a pair [different gender, mind you], so they kept on fighting each other and never got a chance to speak before they decided to take a flight never to come back to their spouse - they have been green like this one and blue, and cobalt and even one was white ... Very nice fellow, but they are far too noisy, so I would not risk having them right now - I would have a permanent headache !!! Like this sweet boy you presented to us. Yours SAM
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . This little feller is going straight into my favourites as he has brought back special memories. I had a budgie just like this for my sixth birthday - Im not saying how long ago that was though!! ha ha Lovely capture of this great little character. Ann
