With my new Toy...Canon SX40HS.I bought it as a back up and to use for Birding,It goes out to 840mm..Up to now I'm rather happy with it...R.

Congrats with your new toy Richie. It's your back up (or one of your back ups), but I think that a lot of people might desire to have it as their (primary) camera.
This first result is stunning. Colors are vibrant and details are great. Very promosing for other images to come.
