At first I thought it was train tracks, but now I see that it is a lovely path through a very pretty garden. I like whatever technique you used to make it special. Kind of an orton effect.
Those almost look like railroad tracks, Richie, but I know your Mom told you never to walk on the railroad tracks; so this must be a pathway with some wooden edges. How can you tell with all of those leaves.
A beautiful shot with a glorious array of autumn colors. I took the liberty of downloading this shot and scanning various areas. Sometimes it helps me figure out how a shot has been edited.
For me, there's something about what TicK calls FDR that makes my eyes go nuts especially on leaves. Those parts of the shots with lots of leaves start to vibrate in vision center of my tiny brain. Other than the vibrating leaves there's some unfinished cloning in the upper left. Don't get me wrong, I'd give my left _____ to have posted this shot, but I call 'em as I see 'em.
As with everyone who commented above me, I love the colors and think this is a nice shot, but how many times do you want to hear the same thing over and over and over again.
A lady, with whom I was riding in the forest, said to me, that the woods always seemed to her to wait, as if the genii who inhabit them suspended their deeds until the wayfarer has passed onward: a thought which poetry has celebrated in the dance of the fairies, which breaks off on the approach of human feet. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson, "History"
