Durham Cathedral Is the greatest Norman building in England, perhaps even in Europe. It is cherished not only for its architecture but also for its incomparable setting. For this reason it was inscribed together with the Castle as one of Britain's first World Heritage Sites.

Maybe the foreground to be lightened a tad, to show the details?...

Like to agree with Bob, Richie, as your image is a tad to dark for me as well. See however that for other friends it's not a problem. Think Bob and I can better view this image without wearing our sunglasses, lol. Love however the atmosphere that your image exudes.

I would call this an almost silhouette. Nicely done. Darken the sky and you have a spooky looking place. I expect that the local peasants will soon show up with their torches and get rid of the Frankenstein monster once and for all. Looks very old and very scary.
