Nice job, Richie, You actually made her pay for the portrait?
About the only thing I would do is clone out that tiny piece of plaster or paint next to her (not my) right shoulder, and that's pretty nitpickey. However, I would repost "Imposing" knowing that you broke my heart.
I am definitely fascinated with the lighting in this portrait, Richie. What special things did you do to accomplish this; postwork or in camera? You found the perfect model too.
Your granddaughter is lovely Count B. I am curious as to the editing done. Flawless work. I think you and the Owd Timer could open a studio. Frugal Fotography. Has a nice ring, don't you think.
I think this is a great portrait - you have a beautiful subject. Classic pose of a young girl all dressed up and sitting on the stairs, watching the front door, waiting for the bell to ring. And if he does not turn up he's an idiot!
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
