We just got about three inches of snow over night, and if there were any foofies around they have been covered up! This is a really purdy shot, Biff. It looks like spring has sprung over there.
Ain't it nice to see these? My trees have been blooming for quite awhile. We did not really have a winter here in Louisiana. Not even one night of freezing temps. Enjoy it.
I'm jealous! They sure are pretty. Who's that guy in your avie? lol They are going to set our clocks ahead one hour next weekend already! Wish they'd just leave it alone. Won't make the crocuses bloom any faster.
I've read the Bible, Richie, and I do recall that one of the plagues against the Egyptian Pharaoh were flocks and hoards of Crocuses that devastated the crops and all organics in their fields. I was always confused by that particular plague since these flowers seem harmless enough.
It's a beautiful shot with delightful colors and a hint of the coming spring. Today it's supposed to be 80°F (26.7°C) here. The cherry trees and citrus are in bloom. I just checked the online weather. The low in two days will be a couple degrees below freezing. That'll teach those stupid trees and flowers not to get ahead of themselves.
A beautiful Spring sight Richie. The tree bark is full of interest as well. Whatever the white object is centre right edge draws the eye away from the lovely croci.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
