I've never seen a duck like this one, Biffo. He's a colorful little guy. The detail you've achieved is amazing. I especially like the green feathers and how they fan out towards the stern. At high magnification I see an outline around portions of the bird. Not sure what causes that, but I usually get a halo effect that's much more noticeable when I HDR a shot. All and all a well deserved 8 out of 10.

P.S. We don't have clear water like that around here. All of our lakes are brown with silt. Love the way his legs are visible under the water.
