Been stuck in the house a while now with this Abysmal weather..Today the sun was splitting the trees,So I decided on a run out..I went to a Waterfall I had visited last year called Routing Linn 140 mile round trip but what the hell,I'd been vegetating..No sooner had I set my camera up when this swooped down out of the trees..5 Metres away and showing no fear at all..The European Eagle owl,One of the top predators around these parts..Pleased I wasn't a mouse..R.

I am pleased you aren't a mouse too. It was worth the petrol, Richie to bag this beautiful bird. Puts a lift in your stride to know you got a good one. Even the vegetation cooperated by being in just the right spot to frame him bottom and left. Excellent!
