One of the most glorious shots you've posted to date, Richie. It's very dramatic in its view of the power of Mother Nature. The colors and contrast are matched in their perfection by the lighting and composition. Too bad you couldn't have waited until the beach bums were out of the shot on the right. Faves.
Record heat waves across the U.S., severe droughts everywhere that it's not flooding, deadly tornadoes in record numbers. Luckily the conservatives are correct in their assessment that this has nothing to do with global warming.

You've kind of Broken the "Rule" of Thirds here... Yet, it Works! Great colors, Clarity, and Depth! I'd be Very tempted to Wait for the Storm to come in, and Watch from this Vantage point!
Richie - A beautiful scene - very dramatic. Here is a case where the rule of thirds being ignored has created a better image. The walkers on the far right would be better either cloned out or more a part of the image. Thad
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
