Both a Geordie and Mining song of the region!

Good point of view here, with the 'Olympic' rings on the bridge

A super shot Richie - wonderful colour and clarity.
I was browsing through a photo book of the north of England tonight and I thought of you Geordie lads. There were a couple of pics of these bridges, but neither were as good as this, and some of the others I have seen here.
Ima bit knooled I can't create quality like this, ye knaa what ah mean leik.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

On the left side "coaly" does look a bit coaly. Very nice image with the bridge and that sky.

Long has Tyne's swelling bosom borne
Great riches from the mine,
All by her hardy sones uptorn--
The wealth of coaly Tyne.

Our keelmen brave, with laden keels,
Go sailing down in line,
And with them laod the fleet at Shelds,
That sails from coaly Tyne.

I bet you sing this song at Karaoke, Count B.
A beautiful shot and I like the Olympic symbol on the bridge.
