It has not been taken right now ...? Or was it ? In the latter case it would be early winter Friday Foofy. Great Boris-matching colour or even brighter - maybe it is Boris who is less bright .. I do not know LOL
Nice composition, Richie ["Richie" still valid I presume ? LOL]

As my dear and late wife has educated me this way, I really thought that I knew a lot about plants and flowers, but your image surprises me again, Richie. Know for sure that I will search for further information about 'Crocosmia', meanwhile enjoying this very fine image. Thanks, mate.

Regards, Cornelius.

The look very graceful growing like that with the rock wall as a backdrop. Well taken!

I have always know these as Montbretia. They grown wild here and are considered somewhat of a pest. I like them but regretted once 'uplifting' some from beside a railway line and transplanting them in my garden and they went crazy. Don't live in that house any more but occasionally drive past it and still - after a long time (decades) they flourish wildly in the front border:)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I love these flowers and this is a lovely setting of them which you have caught. They are also a flower from my childhood as my parents have always grown them in their garden and still do. Well done!
