Considering the conditions in which you have taken your shot of this beautiful bird the detail is remarkable. A fine work on your image Richie. I've tried to take a shot of a bird yesterday in similar conditions and it was a little to much noise for my liking.

Composition is exceptional. The details and clarity speak for themselves - superb. I also like the position of this sweet bird on the limb that is sloping downward. It conveys the feeling of a more natural view. A favorite. Bravo!

Did I nominate this one in AC ? I think so. Now that I am aware of this facility. Never bothered to study this thingy about "AC" in the past [ancient past like 2013] ! New year's resolution #1 is learn in order to die wiser & better educated and #2 is equally optimistic so I better keep this to myself LOL
