To me the saviors of the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) are all heroes! This statue does honor to them.

Those brave men risked their lives to save others. Today they have better boats and equipments but still they are heroes in my eyes. Good shot of the statue with the lifebuoy.

I think he sees you bobbing up and down in the water with your camera but is looking to see if there is anyone else he can save first.
