Gorgeous focus on the bird and matching bokeh. We have sage grouse here in the northern plains but they're not as colorful as this. Ours has a unique mating dance where the male fans his tail feathers, puffs out air bladders on his chest, and makes some rather odd sounds (here's a You Tube link to a BBC clip, no less). Do you know if this red grouse does something similar?
