Our starlings have a touch of iridescence but not rainbow colors like this. The details on the feathers is great.

Aha so it must be summer because is beak is yellow. Will be black in the winter :)
Spectacular plumage - you have captured all those fantastic colours to perfection.
They were brought to NZ in the 1860's to kill caterpillars.
