My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Your details and capture, again and again, excellent work. Its terrific that your photos give us such a wonderful close up view of these birds, you must walk very, very quietly in the forest to be able to snap these without them flying away.
I'll bet those wings, with their slashes of bright blue and black, are amazing in flight. The sort of spectacle I expect from a North American Blue Jay.
Oh, yeah!! I just did a little search online and found this English Jay, photographed in flight, and those blue and black feathers do look a lot like those of the American Jay.
