Perfection! The details underbelly...the clouds and branches framing....and the attitude....I so look forward to your pictures....particularly of birds!
A most beautiful capture. I'm so glad the bird popped out of the clock at midday. My mother had a cuckoo clock. The bird was brown and so that's how I've always imagined them. It is a fine looking bird in reality even if it does invade nests
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
It never occurred to me to Google the cuckoo bird to actually see what one looked like. I would have never thought it would be wearing a soft gray suit and striped vest... like an Englishman geared up for his wedding. I think because of all the clocks Ive seen (and heard), I never got quite curious enough. It certainly is a handsome bird, and interesting in how it almost lays down on the branch, something I rarely see our birds do here in the U.S.
