Good action shot on this Roe, R., but where are the normally-present wings? ;oP Every time I see or hear the name ^Roe Deer^ my mind goes to the old Robin of the Hood stories, with heavy fines for hunting one of the ^Kings deer^. Besides the color, the face on your deer look a little more angular than our white tails and ^mulies^. If that greenish-tan material in the water is a water plant, it looks to be pretty dense. I am more used to tiny bright green plants in our summer streams here, almost like miniature lily pads, so thick the heavily-shaded water below looks black as our kayaks pass through them. Yours here looks almost like dormant lawn grass.
