If this is a dream sequence, Richie, it is such for the casual hiker, one more suited and appreciative of easy to moderate hikes, through woods rather than forests, along meandering streams than tangled brush, and bucolic pastures than rocky mountainous passes. A hiking path like this is fun, and not necessarily a contest of stamina. It is also obviously a great source of calming photographic subject matter. You found a terrific passage point here, leading the viewer and hiker up and around to a new and unexplored vista. Lovely, and a fave for me.

This has that painting with light quality that is so sought after in beautiful paintings. It looks like a very nice place to walk and soak up the surroundings. Good capture, Richie!
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Richie, this is 'rich' and surreal. I guess pun intended:):) This great scene reflects our need to feel at one with nature and God I presume. That's why I venture out as much as I do to enjoy the world God created for us:) Wonderfully crafted to represent the "dream" world we want for ever:):)
