A trip to Northumberland today saw me looking in a charity shop window when I spotted this Maling vase at an affordable price.. Doreen was already inside checking out the clothing.. I decided to buy the vase and took it to the checkout I was about to pay when a polite "Ahem".came from behind and there she was with armfuls of clothing.. When will I ever learn..

Richie, your wife Doreen has timed a well chosen moment to buy 'some' clothes. With probably your purchased vase already in hand, you couldn't tell her to reduce her purchases somewhat, 😁 However, because the purchases were made in a charity shop, I think her purchases haven't become a financial loss for you.
Based on your photograph, you also made a good choice. It is a beautiful specimen, actually too beautiful to serve as a fruit bowl.

This is a beautiful piece Richie- having been an antiques dealer I know a little about this manufacturer and the value - well chosen and spotted.

A great find and I hope Doreen's were as good, although I am sure they were :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
