I found this little site in a town nearby. It is going to be my entry to the contest. B&W doesnt usually do very well in them but that is how I feel this one should be displayed. I apologize for not commenting for the pas several days but I have been at business meetings for the last week and I had no time. I will catch up though and I hope you all enjoy this capture as well.

I can see Lee Marvin and his horse leaning against this wall BTK.
Your photo shows the age of the building and wheel very well.
Good luck in the contest.

You know me, Billy. I'm a sucker for old wood and rusty objects. Without the color I can't tell if there's any rust on the wheel, but it's a good monotone posting. You never know what the voters will choose. Monotones sometimes can earn a win. As for this posting, I probably would have hit the contrast button one more time, done a couple of clicks of sharpen edges and tried to include the entire wheel in the shot. But overediting a shot is my M.O. I just never when to say enough is enough. When I was driving through L.A. I saw some fabulous windows. However when you're in the slow lane going 75 mph with a semi three feet behind you, it's hard to think about finding an exit and locating the building for a photo shoot. I was more inclined to get through the traffic before it got any worse. Good luck in the contest.

Billy - I like the sepia toned image, accentuating the details and nuances of the siding and ajar window covering. The old wheel is an image balancer. Well done! Thad
