And on we go through St.Peter's Church in Vienna. Today I want to show you the huge cupola of this wonderful church.
The main theme of the frescos by Johann Michael Rottmayr is the coronation of Mary by God Father and God Son.
You can see this coronation left off center.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

"St. Peter's - Cupola" is obviously a consummate commingling of art and architecture. What impresses me, however, is the masterful way in which you recorded the image; the impeccable lighting, the incredible attention to detail [sharpness and clarity], perfect coloring and contrast, and your unparalleled composure combine to give the viewer a presentation one will not soon forget. I hope to see this in the VB....Neil

Having tried to capture the beauty of St Peters (Rome) dome I know how difficult it is to present one of such quality as this. The lighting is beautiful and you have managed to give the true feeling of the great height of it. Well done, and I believe it deserves a higher index mark than this, and hope it increases.
