Several of my photos are available for purchase in larger format at Shutterpoint, and some are also available in high quality framed prints at http://djholmes.imagekind.com/
Here I am back with my admission ticket in hand to your galleries. :o)
First, your composition is excellent. Not entirely familiar with the Cathedral ... however, your framing of this section is very pleasing and well-balanced.
If I may ... some of the 'oomph' of the thumbnail is lost ... just a tad in full view.
Contrast looks perfect ... would have preferred some additional sharpness if I can be so bold.
I know from reading and listening and observing, that this is an extremely difficult photographic subject matter. And don't take my critique as anything but my own very humble opinion.
Wondering if some image recompression issues came into play? Or perhaps, as I look closer and take your photo in some more ... was this a crop?
The left hand side is well defined ... some loss of detail occurs in the right side more so.
I know ... go back and reshoot.
Kidding, kidding. Some levity, hopefully.
It is a very dramatic shot ... and I do like the colour saturation, in addition to the composition. It was, as they say the one that jumped out at me from your galleries.
I still very much appreciate this look through your lens. Thanks for sharing this with us.
