Xenophon (ca. 430 - 354 BC), son of Gryllus, of the deme Erchia of Athens, also known as Xenophon of Athens, was a soldier, mercenary, and a contemporary and admirer of Socrates. I have the look of wonder whenever I see these tremendous carvings in stone. And you did a great job of capturing that beauty and wonder. Lighting and shadows add to this photo. Thank you for sharing your capture.
