This is The Wheatsheaf Inn at Raby on The Wirral, North-West England. It is a wonderful pub that is known to everybody in the area as The Thatch. The date above the door is 1611, but parts of it are believed to be older. It has great local beer, wonderful food and is beautiful to look at. what more could a person want?

Sounds and looks perfect to me. 1611, thats old, and it does look its age wonderfully doesnt it. I can imagine how the inside looks with a large blazing fire reflecting off the highly polished bar. Beams that make you duck in places and a wonderful atmosphere. A very nice capture of a beautiful building.
