This picture of Perch Rock Lighthouse at the mouth of The River Mersey was taken at lunch time to-day ( 25th January 2008) almost exactly 24 hours after walking in the sunshine in Sefton Park photographing daffodils! How's that for changeable weather?

Very dramatic and dynamic shot. I like what you're doing with this lighthouse, photographing in different conditions. This, together with the one with sunlight on the side, are the most successful so far I think.

there are going to be hurricanes tonight and tomorrow and tomorrow night too ...
I am not saying that it is not blowing like hell in Szczecin [extreme northern-west of Poland = Germany's extreme northern-east]...
This is impressive image, Steve dear, and frightening and cold and makes one shiver = altogether umpleasant - yes, very unpleasant image ! LOL
