This is my last image of our recent storm in New Brighton so I thought I would make it my favourite lighthouse, The Perch Rock Lighthouse. I hope you have enjoyed my "Storm Pictures". There'll be more storms and more pictures in the future!

This whole series has been inspiring, but to me, this is the best of the best. It was a little wet in the hold, but I shipped this one out to my hard drive.

My my my. This is really one of the best. You got super colors and action, and I love the reflection of the lighthouse. Definitely a favorite. Nice sky, also. All the right ingrediants of a winner.

Definitely the best in the series. Nothing but the wind, waves, and the lighthouse. Good one.

Steve, how interesting you left this shot until last! I particularly agree with PJ above, it is the BEST one of this series, for so many reasons. For me, as well as the overall composition and the reflection in the water, I like the way those 2 waves are kind of bracketing the lighthouse, not sure if anyone will agree and be on the same wavelength as me here though....ha ha WAVELENGTH!!! get it??? boom boom!!!...oh dear...sorry....OK back to the picture, it IS the best, and into my faves it goes. Look forward to the next series.

Great colours and light - they're becoming trademarks of yours you know. Like the reflection in the water too, helps to divide the frame using rule of thirds. I agree with Paul and PJ this is the best in the series, and it's been a very good series!! Great stuff Steve.

Wow, that has got to be the most beautiful photo I've ever seen of a lighthouse...The colours, the water, the sky..and OH MY the way the whitecaps are being blown about by the wind..that just makes this photo magnificent!! IT's going to be on my desktop for quite a while!! Congrats on a beautiful photo. Does anyone live in that now? Its gorgeous. Verena

I like this one the best. In fact, I was going to comment to you when I saw the first one, hoping you'd taken a shot that included more of the lighthouse and left off the pier or dock or whatever that wooden structure on the far right was. But I thought I'd wait and here you did it anyway. I placed a copy of it in a screensaver I made for myself that includes over 200 shots, all containing water in one context or another. Thank you.
