Steve, never knew that scousers are people from Liverpool. It's a good thing that they are proud of their waterfront, as it's a beatiful one. Can say this, on the one hand, because I've visited Liverpool many times in the past, and, in the second place, because your image shows this clearly. Good post.
Regards, Cornelius
A NOTE TO ALL MY FRIENDS: I WILL BE COMMENTING LESS ON PEOPLE IN MY “FRIENDS” LIST SO AS TO MAKE TIME FOR VIEWING ALL “NEW IMAGES” AND ENCOURAGING OTHER PEOPLE OF WHOM I MAY NOT KNOW OR ARE NEW TO THE SITE. I WILL STILL VIEW EVERY IMAGE OF MY FRIENDS AND STILL COMMENT ON SOME IF I CAN GIVE A GOOD CRITIQUE OR MENTION WHAT I LIKE OR FEEL IS REALLY WORKIN’ WELL IN THE IMAGE. AS FAR AS MY IMAGES IF YOU HAVE A COMMENT ON HOW I CAN IMPROVE AN IMAGE I REALLY WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THAT SO AS TO LEARN AND BETTER MYSELF.

This is a heck of a wickedly beautiful waterfront photo! You did a spectacular job on this...wow..the colours, the clarity. You really ought to try to sell this to be used for Travelers and all sorts of promotions..Very very nice. Verena
Hey Steve your putting Liverpool on the map !!

Probably.... the best waterfront in the world...Wonderful shot Steve. What a difference a Nikon makes eh - the Fuji did a half decent job but it couldn't compare with this. Just brilliant - everything's in sharp focus and the light's lovely. I do object to some of those new buildings though - the oval tower things on the left and the one with the box at the top behind the Liver building. I have to say I think we're re-building the monstrosities of the 60's right now, there's an identifiable 2000's style that is just going to date really fast. Those buildings are carbon copies of stuff that's going up everywhere. Ok I admit it, I'm a grumpy old man!
