This picture is of one of the small lanes that leads from the front at Parkgate, Cheshire. It is a lovely village on The River Dee Estuary and in the 18th Century was one of the main ports of North-West England especially for sailing to Dublin.

Hey Steve, great shot. i'm not sure i like the vignette as it seems to pull my eye from the main composition, but i do like the black and white. Wish i was there. great post.

Wonderful B&W shot, Steve. I love the old villages in Britain, like this, the narrow streets and old architecture.

Super black and white. Must be a woman driver going over the curb, huh?

Great black and white treatment, looks like an old print or postcard.
