I think you are liking that Nikon 55-200mm lens Steve. This is a good shot. How far away were you when you took photo? I am just trying to learn. I like the coloring and the fuzziness in background and on little duck. Nice post.

That's very good Steve. The challenge of a shot like this is avoiding getting too much noise, either because you have to crop in hard to get a decent size, or because you need a higher ISO setting to avoid blur when you're hand-holding at this magnification. I don't see too much noise in this and there's no blur and the little fella is beautifully clear. I would have liked to see the whole circle of ripples around him, and I actually think that if you'd managed that this would be an outstanding shot. As it is it's very good, and isn't he cute!
