This is The Statsraad Lehmkuhl, a three-masted ship from Norway, sailing up The Mersey to The Bromborough Pool where all the Tall Ships were gathering before The Parade of sail last Monday (21st July 2008)

I think this is my favourite of this series so far. The whites are so very bright and all those lines are lovely. I'm sure the perspective makes it looks bigger than it really is (it can't be as big as that building surely) but it's one impressive vessel.

That is one complicated piece of equipment to heard down the river. How many crew members to handle that rig? Great capture. Good angle too.
