Detail from The Reredos at the High Altar at Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral.

You've already heard what I consider to be the most beautiful 5 minutes of music ever written with the clip of Victoria's "O Magnum Mysterium". Now you can settle down and listen to the most beautiful and moving piece of music ever written . It is Ralph Vaughan Wiliiams' "Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis."

Excellent shot, Steve. That must be something to see in person. Again, thanks for the link to the music.

Beautiful music to rest and reflect with Steve. The photo with the golden tones match the golden tones of the piece you linked. Another good one is your series. I feel like I have been there.

Very ornate. I always think of churches and cathedrals as staetments of status for the communities that built them, and that comes across here. All that gold! A nice clear shot of it too Steve, with lots of detail. I know the Vaughan Williams piece, it's a favourite of mine too. Thanks for the reminder!
