I realise that this image could be classed under Trains and other shots of these miniature engines probably will be, but I thought this shot is more about the people. Everybody looks so happy, especially the wonderful lady driving Let's Rumble (the red train). It was a lovely sunny Sunday (5th Oct 2008) and people where having a great time in Royden Park on the Wirral, 5 miles from our house. The trains (there are 3 trains in operation)are run by enthusiasts who don't charge for the rides but who do hope for some donations. The children (especially the Dads) just love the train ride.

It is about people but also the colourful trains scream for attention. Very nice post showing a happy group having a good time.

I agree that it is about people and their love for life evetS. It reminded me of Christmas and this song. Hope you enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed this photo.

Steve, as I said just a moment ago in one comment - I am so lucky this afternoon to get the oportunity to vote only on beautiful [8/10], very beautiful [9/10] and most beautiful [10/10] images !!!! Yours is no exception !!!! Rowan berries still getting fine here and starlings must be on diet or changed their favourite food. LOL

The happiness oozes out and this is also a very well-composed photo Steve. The two 'blocks' of the trains and the vertical of the tree dividing it on the 'golden section' make the picture very satisfying. As for the fabulous lady, she reminds me of a character in 'Thomas the Tank Engine'. She makes me feel happy just looking at her!
