This is the award winning beach at New Brighton, Merseyside. When Mrs braces and I moved here 20 years ago there were only mud banks here, then they installed the network of concrete blocks and this trapped the sand. This is the outcome, our lovely beach.

This is just where I'd like to be at this time, better still, in the summer. A beautiful looking beach. Keeping it to help warm me up.

It is really nice to see someone reclaiming the beach instead of letting erosion take it away. Beautiful Caruso. This is something to sing about. Good post.

There's something so appealing to me about beaches in winter, they are reclaimed by nature after the sunscreen and litter of the summer. You caught that sense in this one Steve.
