Photography->Lighthouses
This was taken today at 2.00pm. The lighthouse is The Perch Rock Lighthouse at the mouth of The River Mersey. I was there with several hundred other photographers to to the ship that you can just see on the horizon. It is The BW Bauhinia and she is, at 158,569 gross tonnes, the largest ship to ever sail into the River Mersey. For a close-up of this ship please click HERE.

Oh yeah, you can just barely see the ship on the horizon... and it looks like the tide is coming in, which is probably good, otherwise she might get stuck on a sandbar...

Fine photo Steve, I think this is my favourite of your Perch Rock Lighthouse ones. The close up of the vesseel is great as well.
