I think this is little better but somewhat overexposed in the rocks and there is that noise in the background that is really noticeable. Sorry Steve. I like the actual lighting on her though. =^..^= sandi ♪
She's nicely picked out against that 'bokeh' background Steve and I agree with Sandi that this is the better of the two shots. I suspect this has been cropped in tight given the noise in the background, but I like the look of curiosity you got with her head cocked to one side and the light on her chest. Nice work!
Steve in contrast with the human world, in the animal world the 'male' is often more handsome than the 'female'. When I compare your both blackbird images, see however not that much difference. Think it's the welknown 'exception to the rule', lol.

I also like how Mrs Blackbird stands out against the background and the bird table. I have detected a little noise in both captures, but not let that detract from the enjoyment of seeing our native bird going about its business. Well done!
