I thought this image of Liverpool taken from Crosby Beach last year had an old fashioned look about it so after some work (adding a bit of grain) here is my take on an old B&W newspaper photo.
The picture is taken from Crosby Beach where you can see some of the statues that form Antony Gormley's wonderful "Another Place". Beyond the beach are part of the world famous Liverpool Docks. Far in the background (about 8 miles) you can see two of the most iconic sights on the Liverpool skyline. The Anglican Cathedral and on top of the needle tower the studios of Radio City (96.7fm) the local commercial radio station.
