This alien-looking building isn't a flying saucer at all! It is the Crosby Leisure Centre and is built next to the beach in Crosby (North of Liverpool). This is the beach where you will find Antony Gormley's wonderful statues called "Another Place".

Very nice shot, Steve.

Really liking the lines of the center's roof, combined with those of the fencing. Visually intriguing, and most appealing.

Well done on the technical considerations as well. Good natural colour, exposure, et al.

Caveats?

Might have been tempted to clone out the bird. And then that of the sign (?) on the fencing (left-hand side, lower).

The following is mentioned more as an f.y.i. for you ... there are a couple of 'spots' (just right of the structure and in the upper right section of the sky), of what I surmise to be dust or something on your lens. No biggie, mind you.

Well composed. Certainly a strong element of your photo here. I must say, your image did indeed catch my eye.

Perhaps, a bit trite and overused ... still, with that said ... très très cool shot, Steve.

Really enjoy this one and but of course, thank you for sharing it with us. :o)

That is just too cool. It looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. In the link you provided, it sure takes on a different feel with it being open like that, with cars and people all around. Nice post. Thanks for showing this one, Steve.
