Water on a spider's web in the ivy that is growing on our front wall.

As some of you know Mrs b and I sing in a large Choral Society and have done for the last 29 years but I started singing large scale choral works as a boy soprano (a treble) 45 years ago when I was 11.The first performance I took part in was of the extraordinary Requiem by Verdi. I have sung this work in various choirs 7 times. Here is most of the final movement Libera Me. This is a stunning movement that ranges from some of the most exquisite unaccompanied singing (climaxing at 3' 47" to 4' 10") followed by an astonishing fugue for choir and orchestra and ending with the almost whispered words "Libera Me" - "Save me, Lord".

I become so interested in the link and your narrative that I almost forgot about the photo. I am glad I didn't because it is great. It does look like diamonds. Good post Caruso.

Thanks for both a wonderful image and the link to "Liberame Domine" Verdi' Requiem. Impressive Steve. Agree with Marzena as the biggest question is now: which one was you?, lol.
Regards, Cornelius.

Like Tick I also clicked the link and almost forgot about your image here, Steve. You have captured this unusual sight very well. Just the opposite of "water on a duck's back" :) Thanks for the link.

Looks like you have struck it rich with the diamonds all over that plant. Nice shot. That is a fine piece of music in the link, although I don't understand the language you used about it in your narrative.
