This beautiful butterfly was in the newly opened Butterfly House at Chester Zoo. Unfortunately either they don't have anything to say what butterflies they have or Mrs b and I missed it!

Tickformation Nikon D60; 55-200mm lens at 180mm; 1/200@F5.6; ISO 200.

Wow, what a beautiful butterfly! I love the color and that it is resting on the pretty green leaves. You did a great job capturing the lovely butterfly.

I really like the inside of the wings much better with that great blue lighting Caruso. Excellent capture. I have never been in a butterfly house. Do you have to shoot through glass?
Great post.

What a beauty !
Those Blue Morphos are very beautiful and it is always a surprise to see how different the brown and whule mottles underside of their wings are.
I visited a Butterfly House at the weekend :) It is such a strange sensation to have several large one land on you.

Excellent shot!

Snap, crackle 'n' pop on the colours kid!! A wee tight on the DOF as it runs out kinda quick, but, still a fanciful flapper!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
