I have no idea what these are. They are very colourful and pretty and can be found in The Walled Garden in Royden Park on The Wirral, a few miles from my house.

I was expecting a blue blooded duck, swan or goose Caruso with that regal title. The feathers you found are regal as well. So colorful.

I believe they are Astible.
Also known as Meadowsweet.

I don't know what kind of flowers they are, but I do know I really like the colors and yes they do look like feathers. A very nice find.

In my country they are called false spirea, Steve, but Lyn and Bob are correct as the proper name for it is astilbe indeed.

Yes I agree with Lyn too, they are definately Astible. I used to have a lovely white one growing in my last garden - quite a show piece too! This is a lovely image and I particularly like how you have caught two different colours of this variety. Well done!
