Something gave me the needle this morning hence the prickly Friday Foofy. This is a shot of "The Grow Zone" at Chester Zoo.

My mother has been growing cactus in her conservatory for years now, & boy do they get big, so this is an upload I can really relate to.
There are some amazing specimens here thanks for sharing.

I imagine a porcupine would feel right at home here Caruso. Talk about your back scratchers. All the sizes and shapes creates some unique models. I don't suppose you have to water them very often.

Wooooohooooooo!!! now THIS is something different! I like it a lot!! I actually own one of those TALL ones...for every section of it, it grew a year, so mine is about 8 yrs old now!! And it is about to reach the ceiling, not sure what I'll do with it next..I love this photo of yours..Verena

My wife would go crazy here as she loves cactus. Very nice image even tho it reminds me of spines I have had to remove because of accidentally brushing into hers.
