Ancient masterpiece of architecture Steve. The texture of the bricks doesn't allow you to clone out the somewhat disburbing pole. It's a pity, but acceptable. Very good image anyway.

Well I hope you helped Mrs B up all those steps and also that you got one of the few rooms with a view!!! ha ha This looks like a very interesting castle indeed. Nice capture of this ancient building. Well done!

I've been to Oxford, lovely place for a get away Steve. Did you stay in the castle, lol? Beautiful detail and textures is this magnificent old castle and gorgeous sky
This is an excellent shot of the castle, with a great sky and colors. I would love to visit a castle over there. Send me the boat fare and I will be right there. LOL. Jimbob
It's funny seeing your Suffolk photos Steve because you've chosen some of the same places I did. I spent ages on this one and couldn't get a perspective I was happy with. I tried this very spot! Honestly I think the light was too harsh here and I wonder if you've considered using a polarising or neutral density filter. But I like the foliage at bottom left and top right corners and there's lots of detail in the brickwork.
